Purpose of activity: 
To spread the word about the colourful essence of northwestern Chinese culture, enrich

the cultural lives of Calgarians, promote  communication and exchange between Chinese

communities and groups in Calgary, and construct a platform for cohesive family,

old country, and personal friendships and affections. 

In 2017 and 2018 we successfully held “A Taste of the Old Country” events, complete

with uniquely northwestern Chinese cuisine, congenial and warm-hearted  goodwill,

and a splendid performance programme. These events were favourably received by

friends and groups in the broader Calgary community. 

This time the Xibei Chinese Association Will be holding the third annual “A Taste of

the Home” event.

Xibei Chinese Association has set the date for its third annual “A Taste of the Home”

event for Saturday 11 May 2019 at the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre. You are

warmly invited! We will do our very best to throw a delectable, rousing, and

entertaining party for our friends.

活动的目的:
传扬中国大西北文化的深厚精髓，丰富卡城华人的文化生活, 促进华人社区及社团之间的沟通与的交流, 为华人及社区搭建一个体现亲情、乡情和友情凝聚力的平台。2017和2018年我们已经成功地举办了两届《西北故乡情》晚会，以独具西北特色的美食，真挚朴实的情感，精彩纷呈的节目，获得卡城广大朋友及社团的青睐和好评。本次晚会是西北同乡会组织举办的第三届《西北故乡情》晚会.

西北同乡会定于2018年5月6日晚在卡城中华文化中心举办第二届《西北故乡情》晚会，特此诚挚邀请您莅临指导。目前第二届晚会

处在紧锣密鼓的筹备中，我们会全力以赴，在5月6日为朋友们献上一个最美味、最动情、最精彩的晚会。
